The Bainbridge Seaside Home at Seaford. Originally the Swiss Pavilion at the Paris Exhibition in 1900 this elegant building was purchased and re-erected at Seaford by the philanthropist Emerson Bainbridge as a holiday home for poor girls from large towns. It was demolished in 1966 to make way for new housing
