The good-looking <i>Paris III</i> entering Newhaven Harbour at speed. Built in 1882, she was the last paddle steamer to ply the Newhaven to Dieppe route. With her open bridge she must have been a brute to steer in bad weather. Sold in 1912, she served as a minesweeper during the First World War, and was scrapped in 1924.
